Chesil Beach | Part 1 – Fishing at West Bexington 8th June 2025

Chesil Beach | Part 1 – Fishing at West Bexington 8th June 2025

After a long break from the sea, we were finally back doing what we love most — fishing together. Our first trip back took us to West Bexington Beach, and it was the perfect way to reignite our passion.

We want to be upfront with you: these early posts are based on past trips and are a little lighter on detail than what you can expect in the future. Think of them as a way to catch up on our journey so far. Moving forward, we’ll be sharing more in-depth posts with tips, techniques, and all the small details that make each trip special.

At West Bexington, it was just Connor and me, soaking up the fresh air, enjoying the quiet, and casting our lines into the sea.

The catch report

I landed 2 dogfish and had one massive missed bite, while Connor got a pouting

Not the best fish, but the trip was about reconnecting and getting back into the rhythm of fishing — and that part couldn’t have gone better.

This trip reminded us why we love fishing: it’s about bonding, fresh air, and the thrill of the chase. It was a simple start, but an important one, marking the beginning of the next chapter of Tides and Tribe.

Stay tuned for Part Two, where just a couple of days later we headed to Ferry Bridge for more sea fishing adventures. And remember, future trips will include more detail, so you can follow along as if you were right there with us.
