Hythe | Fishing West Parade Beach 5th September 2025

Hythe | Fishing West Parade Beach 5th September 2025

We couldn’t resist a return to the beautiful Hythe, and once again opted for West Parade. It turned out to be a fantastic choice — not only did we enjoy some great fishing, but we also made some new friends along the way! Aaron, Rhys, and Charlie were out on the beach with us, and it was brilliant to share tips, stories, and laughs. We’re really looking forward to fishing with them again soon.

As always, these posts are recaps of past trips, so the details are lighter than what you’ll see in future posts. Moving forward, we’ll be including more in-depth tips, techniques, and insights from each adventure.

A few of the fish made it home for dinner, including one of Connor’s plaice and a gifted ray from our new friends.

Full catch report

  • Me: 1 dogfish, 1 conger eel
  • Connor: 3 plaice, 2 smooth hound pups, 1 dogfish

It was a night full of good company, laughter, and memorable catches — the perfect reminder that sea fishing is just as much about the people you meet as it is about the fish you catch.

Stay tuned for more trips, catches, and stories as Tides and Tribe continues to grow and share our adventures.

Help us build a picture of what's being caught around the UK. Send us your latest catch report and photo — big or small, we'd love to see it.
