A big thank you to Teejay and Dan for sending in another catch report from Hampton Pier!
Conditions were a little different this time, with a bit of a breeze and a slight chop on the sea. Lugworm was the bait of choice for the session.
Teejay had a busy session, landing a baby smoothhound, a baby dogfish, two baby bass and two smoothhounds measuring 58cm and 60cm.
The two larger smoothhounds were kept and prepared for Teejay’s dad, who loves fresh smoothhound — a nice way to make good use of the catch and take something home for the family.
Dan also got amongst the fish, landing a baby smoothhound and a dogfish.
Another enjoyable session at Hampton Pier with a good variety of fish between them. Thanks again, Teejay and Dan, for sharing your catches with the Tides & Tribe community!
